Image 3: Dirk van der Kley and Aminat Chokobaeva, both CAIS research scholars. Aminat gave a paper entitled ‘History Wars: The Many Visions of the Central Asian Uprising of 1916’. Dirk spoke on ‘The Curious Case of  China’s Declining Aid to Tajikistan’.

Image 4: Tom Vangelovski, CAIS research scholar discussed  ‘Macedonia’s Stalled Transition and the Coloured Revolution’; and CAIS graduate Dr Grigol Ubiria presented a paper - ‘Georgia’s non-recognition and engagement policies with Abkhazia and South Ossetia: prospects and challenges’.
