CAIS academics were at the ANU Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences (HASS) and Languages Showcase on 10-11 April. Organised by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) the showcase hosts high school students from Canberra and the regions. The students are given the opportunity to experience the breadth and diversity of disciplines available within the Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences at ANU. The idea being this experience will assist them to make more informed choices for subjects in Years 11 and 12, and beyond.

CAIS academics Dr Raihan Ismail, Leila Kouatly and Firouzeh Khoshnoudiparast gave presentations on Middle Eastern & Central Asian Studies, Arabic and Persian. Both the students and teachers attending seemed to enjoy the events and soak up all the information available to them.
