Palestinian Statehood, the Two-State Solution and Peace

Ghassan Khatib is the Director of the Palestinian Government Media Centre, a former Minister in the Palestinian National Authority (PA) and former Vice-President of Bir Zeit University. A former member of the Palestinian Delegation for the Madrid Middle East Peace Conference and subsequent bilateral negotiations, Dr Khatib has a long-standing involvement in and understanding of the peace process.

Ghassan Khatib holds a PhD in Middle East Politics from Durham University in the United Kingdom and is also a multiple published author and political commentator. His latest publication, Palestinian Politics and the Middle East Peace Process, was published by Routledge in 2010.
