The combined knowledge and experience of the centre’s researchers, teaching, language and professional staff sets the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies apart from other similar centres. Students studying at the centre benefit directly from a learning experience enriched by the regional and multi-lingual knowledge of the teaching staff and researchers. Teaching staff are not only experts in their field but can impart unto students their first-hand observations of a complex region under-going significant change. The learning experience at the centre is further enhanced by the administrative expertise of the centre’s in-house professional staff who can helpfully assist with student inquiries.

CAIS is proudly an equal-opportunity employer in its pursuit of fostering robust intellectual exchanges, high standards of scholarship, enhanced education outcomes and encouraging an informed public awareness of the Middle East and Central Asia.
