Prizes & Awards

CAIS offers a range of prizes and awards for students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered through the centre.

Jacky Anne Sutton Prize

Each year the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies may offer one prize known as the Jacky Anne Sutton Prize. The objective of the prize is to honour the late Jacqueline Anne Sutton, a PhD student in the Centre of Arab and Islamic Studies, and an accomplished journalist and humanitarian activist.

Funding for this cash prize of $500 has been provided by the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies.
