The Persian Australian Community Association of ACT has the pleasure of inviting you to the Persian New Year "Nowruz" celebration and Harmony Day event, supported by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

The event takes place this Saturday from 10am to 4pm at Civic Square, with the official opening at 11am featuring guest speakers:

• Ms Tara Cheyne, Minister for Multicultural Affairs; and
• Professor Rae Frances, Dean of the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

A tast of the first days of spring in the northern hemispher is coming to Canberra for the first tiem by celebrating Nowrouz with the wider ACT Community.  Join us for music, delicious Persian foods, a variety of desserts, Persian sweets and coffee, traditional dances, displays of art, handcrafts and magical persian rugs.  There will be kids activities, henna and lots of other fun things to do.
