What next for Afghanistan?

What next for Afghanistan?

The Near East Policy Forum and the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies present "What next for Afghanistan?"

The resurgence of Taliban after the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan has plunged the country into another deep crisis.  Afghans are facing the confluence of multiple crises including dismal economic conditions, a severe drought, COVID-19 pandemic, and the prospect for civil war.  This panel discusses the  multifaceted problems facing Afghan people, the spectre of increased violence but also hope in the possibility of a peaceful political future for the country.
