What next for Afghanistan?

The resurgence of Taliban after the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan has plunged the country into another deep crisis. Afghans are facing the confluence of multiple crises including dismal economic conditions, a severe drought, COVID-19 pandemic, and the prospect for civil war. Most of the discussions on the Afghan crisis focused on the US withdrawal and what it means for the US and Western countries. In this panel, however, the discussion is focused on the current and future situation of the citizens of Afghanistan, the humanitarian crisis engulfing the country and the influx of refugees with the aim of amplifying Afghan narratives and voices.
