A repeat of a highly successful seminar - two speakers from the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies (ANU) will speak about the challenging topic of Arab Women Amid Political Change.
Dr Victoria Mason is a Lecturer with the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies and the School of Politics and International Relations at the ANU. Her Middle East oriented research focuses on the Palestinian question, conflict and conflict resolution in the Middle East (particularly Israel-Palestine and Iraq) and human rights issues in the region.
Ms Raihan Ismail was born in Egypt and is currently a PhD scholar at the ANU Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies. Her thesis topic is: “The education of the Saudi religious authorities".
