The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Marnie Hughes-Warrington, representing the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ian Young, and CAIS Director, Prof. Amin Saikal hosted the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, The Hon. Julie Bishop, to a dinner at University House on 16 January 2014.
Guests included the  Arab, Turkish and Iranian ambassadors to Australia and a number of academics from the University.
