CAIS research scholar Sana Ashraf in the finals of the 3MT

CAIS research scholar Sana Ashraf has reached the finals of the ANU 3 minute thesis competition.

Sana Ashraf joined CAIS in 2015 to research the topic of the blasphemy laws of Pakistan and their social impact. Ms Ashraf is particularly interested in how the laws impact on the religious minorities of Pakistan and their implications for religious freedom and freedom of speech in Pakistan.

Sana did very well in the first rounds to be one of two PhD scholars representing the College of Arts and Social Sciences in the finals tonight.
