  • Biography

Adhra AlMansoori is a PhD student and research scholar at the Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies (CAIS) at The Australian National University. She currently serves as Head of Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Canberra, where she leads strategic initiatives to advance UAE-Australia economic relations.

Her professional background spans over a decade in international diplomacy and economic policy, including serving as Head of the UAE’s Caribbean Diplomatic Representation in Havana and as an Economic Affairs Specialist in the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Adhra holds multiple postgraduate degrees, including a Master of National Security Policy from ANU, a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, and a Master of Studies from ANU. Her doctoral research focuses on the role of Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) in shaping the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) foreign economic policy and diversification strategies.
