I chose ANU because of the diverse range of courses and programs on offer, as well as the exceptional teaching expertise of the faculty. The Centre for Arab & Islamic Studies at ANU has provided me the foundation and knowledge to better understand pertinent world issues and current affairs, especially in regards to the Middle East.

I feel that a degree in both Asia-Pacific Studies and Commerce could help me become a better-rounded individual, by teaching me to have a good grasp of a wide range of topics and issues, from business to politics

My degree has helped me stand out from my peers, especially towards employers who are looking for a knowledgeable and perceptive individual. Every day is a surprise, because you are able to learn new things each day at ANU. The Arabic program at ANU is excellent and I highly recommend it, especially if you are interested in the rich cultures of the Middle East. The Arabic course is taught exceptionally well by lecturers who are passionate and knowledgeable.
