Bushfire Smoke and Children's Health—Exploring a Communication Gap
Tuesday 1 November 2022

First paper from CAIS Cross College research project on culturally inclusive health messaging for children about bushfire smoke has been published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. The paper draws attention to the communication gap about bushfire smoke health messaging for children, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The larger project aims to respond to this need by producing two children’s story books that deliver the health message in age-appropriate, engaging and culturally inclusive ways and bilingual formats in English-Arabic/Persian/Turkish).
